Personal Injury & Disability Lawyers in Cambridge, Ontario
SOUND LEGAL SERVICE IN CAMBRIDGE, KITCHENER & ONTARIO
Since 1979, Hilborn and Konduros Lawyers has represented injured, disabled, and dismissed workers across Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Hamilton, Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville, Toronto, Richmond Hill, Brampton, and the rest of Ontario. The firm’s civil litigation practice covers personal injury, long-term and short-term disability, and employment law — any legal dispute that is not criminal in nature. If an insurer cut off your disability benefits, a driver injured you in a car accident, or an employer let you go without proper notice, the Cambridge-based team can help you understand your options and pursue the compensation you are owed.
Robert Konduros has practiced litigation for almost 40 years since graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1986. He is a former Chairperson of the Canada Pension Plan Disability Benefits Tribunal and has appeared at every level of the Ontario court system, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Tim Hilborn, called to the bar in 1979, handles the firm’s real estate, wills, and estates work and has served the Cambridge community for decades.
Clients work directly with an experienced lawyer, not a rotating team of junior associates. Files are handled personally from the first phone call to final resolution, and home or hospital visits are available for clients who cannot travel to the office. The firm operates on a contingency-fee basis for personal injury and disability matters, meaning there are no fees until compensation is recovered.
Clients across the Waterloo Region and Greater Toronto Area — including Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Hamilton, Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville, Toronto, Richmond Hill, and Brampton — have relied on the firm for personal injury, disability, and employment matters, with more than 120 client reviews describing responsive communication and hands-on support throughout the claims process.
Personal injury claims handled include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, slip and fall, motorcycle accidents, car accidents, wrongful death, bicycle and pedestrian accidents, public transit accidents, and boating accidents.
Disability claims handled include chronic pain, PTSD, life insurance denials, long-term and short-term disability, cancer and post-cancer treatment, bipolar and mood disorders, fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety, critical illness, migraines and headaches, SISIP (military disability), arthritis and rheumatic diseases, diabetes-related disabilities, and neurological disorders.

FAQs
-
Most Ontario personal injury lawyers, including Hilborn and Konduros, work on a contingency-fee basis. You pay no upfront legal fees, and the lawyer’s fee is a percentage of the compensation recovered, typically capped around 30–32% for higher-risk cases. If there is no recovery, there is no fee, and the fee percentage is always confirmed in writing before you sign.
